Join us as we explore more of the food and wine of Italy, right here at Let’s Get Cookin.’ Tomasso Barletta of Tuscany, Rustico and Riviera Restaurants travels frequently to Italy and is quite an expert on matching food and wines.
In each class of this series we will prepare a meal together using ingredients and traditional recipes from the cities, villages and hill towns of specific regions. Then we will sit down and eat the meal matched with wines.
Tommaso will also discuss the cultural, demographic and geographic aspects of each region that make it unique. He will recommend places to go including top restaurants, hotels, wineries and sites of interest for food and wine lovers.
As an extra, Phyllis will throw in her reflections of Liguria where she spent several days touring in June.
