Parent/Child Workshops are fun classes designed for teams of parents, grandparents or other adults and children to work together around a particular theme. Coordination and cooperation are stressed, and everyone has a great time. These classes are recommended for children ages 6 to 12.
All childrens workshops are hands on.
If you have older children check out our Teen Cuisine Nights.

A Beverly Hills Chihuahua Party
In the movie, Chloe, a pampered Chihuahua gets lost in Mexico, far away from the pet salons of Beverly Hills and her beloved family. Well, someone let the dogs out again and they are having a great time here in Westlake Village. Come and join the wacky party!

The Great Gingerbread House Workshop

This will be our 20th Annual Holiday Gingerbread House Workshop for parents and children! In this two-part all day class you will bake and decorate your very own gingerbread houses to take home for the holidays. This year you will have the opportunity to make a Hansel and Gretel Witch's Candy House or a Traditional Christmas or Chanukah Gingerbread House and decorate it any way you like.
Please bring aprons, rolling pins, cookie sheets and a sturdy board to build your house on to class. (These are also available for purchase at our store, if you need them.)
Each team will receive a recipe and instruction booklet for both sessions including complete directions and patters for the houses. All materials for baking, assembling and decorating the houses will be furnished.
We will serve hot chocolate for all, and everyone will have more fun than they can imagine!
Assembly directions will be included in each packet.

An Asian New Year Celebration
Chinese New Year is based on the lunar year and signifies a time to rejoice for millions of Asian people all over the world.
Chinese New Year 2009 begins on January 26. This is the year of the Ox and those born in this year are said to be very dependable, great organizers, loyal, patient and responsible. The lunar new year is also celebrated by the Korean and Vietnamese cultures as well as many Japanese. Japan as a country officially observes the Western New Year on January 1. Thailand celebrates every April with a water festival known as Songkran.
We will make recipes to honor all of these countries in this class.
