Dacor's
Celebrity Chef Caprial Pence Demonstrates
The Art of Cooking at Let's Get Cookin' Culinary School
PASADENA, CA -- Dacor's celebrity Chef Caprial Pence, host of the awardwinning television series "Cooking with Caprial," recently shared her world-class culinary techniques and secrets at Let's Get Cookin' culinary school in Westlake Village, California. Preparing a series of enticing dishes from her new cookbook, Caprial Cooks for Friends, Chef Caprial Pence captivated a sold-out audience and inspired consumers with her down-to-earth teaching style and cooking expertise that has made her one of the country's most popular and well-known Northwest chefs.
Dacor and Let's Get Cookin' co-sponsored the demonstration, which was held Tuesday, April 18, at the culinary school and chic retail center. No stranger to the popular cooking school, Dacor has teamed up with Let's Get Cookin' in the past by providing its high-performance Epicure ovens and cooktops in order to enhance the cooking demonstration experience.
Phyllis Vaccarelli, owner of Let's Get Cookin', is known among her customers and fans for recruiting some of the country's leading chefs and for her distinctive culinary courses. "We were thrilled when Chef Caprial Pence accepted our invitation to perform her masterwork at Let's Get Cookin'," said Vaccarelli. "As a top chef, restaurateur, author and teacher, customers were eagerly awaiting her demonstration. It was quite a success and the results were delicious."
In line with Let's Get Cookin's springtime ethnic cuisine theme, Chef Caprial Pence spent the evening demonstrating the preparation of a unique menu, including Hot and Sour Soup, Pork Tenderloin with Spicy Glaze and Mango Jam, Mark's Jungle Rice and Rhubarb Creme Brulee. Caprial felt right at home using Dacor's kitchen appliances during the demonstration as she personally uses the company's products in her own kitchen, at her cooking school in Portland, Oregon, and on the set of her successful television cooking series, "Cooking with Caprial."
