Let's Get Cookin' Store Policies

Sales Tax - We collect sales tax for orders shipped to California addresses.

Ordering Information - The primary method we receive orders is via the web. This is the preferred method. The shopping cart is secure and SSL encrypted (scrambled).

If you prefer, we can also take orders via phone as well. If you don't catch us on the phone, leave a message, a time to call and your time zone, so we can call back at a time convenient for you. We are typically available 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pacific Time, Monday through Saturday. Our phone number is (818) 991-3940.

Methods of Payment - We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover Card only. We do not accept checks or money orders. The credit card is not charged until the order ships.

Declined Payments - If for some reason your payment is declined, we will attempt to contact you for another form of payment or continue to attempt to charge your credit card daily. You will be responsible for all fees associated with a declined payment, if any.

Shipping Timeframe - Depending on your location, you should receive your order within 10-14 business days, (unless you choose an expedited shipping means to ensure faster delivery). We do not guarantee shipping or delivery times. If you need an item by a certain date, please contact us by phone or email.

Rush Order Processing - Select the Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air options and we'll ship out your order the same day if ordered by 1 PM PST (except for Sundays and store holidays). The billing address and shipping address must be the same. Applies to stocked items, not the few items clearly marked as shipped direct from the manufacturer. We can't guarantee same day shipping.

Backorder - You will be notified if an item has suddenly become out of stock, discontinued or backordered. The balance of your order will ship under our usual shipping practices.

Store Pickup - If you prefer to pick up your purchase at the store rather than have it shipped to you, please either: 1) place an order on our website and specify yes in the "STORE PICK UP OPTION" in the Additional Info section of the checkout page. A store representative will call you when the item is ready for pick up. Purchases will only be available for pick up for 14 days; if not picked up, the order will be shipped to the "Ship To" address and quoted shipping charges will be billed to the customer. Or, 2) call the store and ask the clerk to hold an item for you for pick up. In this case, items can only be held for 48 hours.

Shipping and Handling -We currently ship UPS ground to the 50 states excluding P.O. Boxes. Costs are calculated using the UPS Domestic Shipping Calculator.

Packages delivered with incorrect address information If the package has incorrect or incomplete address information, we will be charged a fee by UPS to correct the address and deliver the package. Examples of incomplete addresses include missing Apartment or Suite numbers, or missing floor, if applicable, or supplying us a PO Box as a delivery address. The UPS charge will be charged to the customer. Please double-check addresses during checkout.

UPS Undeliverable packages & Refused Packages Fees - UPS charges return shipping for undeliverable or refused packages. This charge will be passed on to the customer; we are not able to absorb the charges. Packages refused by the recipient, or which can't be delivered will be returned to us by UPS for a fee. Examples of undeliverable packages include, but are not limited to, orders that have incorrect address information, packages that are refused for any reason when delivery is attempted, packages that aren't delivered in 3 delivery attempts, packages unclaimed at the UPS local office or any other reason out of UPS's control that result in the package being returned to us. Please make sure the addresses are correct, the recipient knows the package is coming and that the location is suitable for daytime delivery of packages.

Customer Ordering Errors - The customer is responsible for entering their order correctly online. We are not responsible for customer mistakes during ordering. Examples of which (but not limited to) are typing errors ("typos"), transposing addresses, swapping billing and shipping addresses, selecting the wrong items or colors, duplicate orders, etc... While we will certainly work with the customer to try and resolve the mistake, the responsibility is the customers' to give us the correct order information in the first place. If we can't catch an incorrect address, an order change request, etc... we will not bear the costs of the customer error. Please double check the order for errors before submitting it.

Risk of Loss - All items purchased from Letsgetcookin.com are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the courier.

Guarantee, Cancellations and Returns - All items carry a 30-day money-back guarantee. The item must be in new, unused, untested condition with all materials. Please notify us by email of your desire to return an item. We will mail shipping instructions and a return authorization number and instructions. The returned item must be in the original box with all paperwork. We will issue refunds or give store credit for the product only. The customer will incur the expense of all shipping charges. Returned items may be subject to a restocking fee which will bee noted in the product description page, if applicable. No refunds will be given for products that can't be sold as new.

Custom orders are not returnable. After 30 days, items are covered by the manufacturer's standard warranty.

Clearance Items - Items in the clearance section, or marked clearance, discontinued or closeout are not returnable. All sales on clearance items are final.

Returns require a Return Authorization (RA) number. Items returned without an RA number will be refused. RA#s are good for 30 days only. The item must be received by us within 30 days of the issuance of the RA. Additional RAs will not be created if this timeframe lapses.

Damaged Items - If a package arrives damaged, save all packing materials and contact us immediately. We must be notified within 7 days of receipt. We are not responsible for items reported beyond this timeframe. If you are unhappy in any way, email us and we'll try to make things right. We can't help if we don't know about the problem.

Pricing - Our pricing is quite competitive, frequently at the lowest allowable price. We are not responsible for typographic or pricing errors.

Terms of Use - All site design, but not limited to text, graphics, design elements, photographs and video contains proprietary information of www.letsgetcookin.com. No user may exploit content from this website, including modifying, publishing, transmitting or creating derivative works. The sole permitted use of the site is for use as a shopping resource or placing an order. Any other use of materials on this site without prior written permission from Let’s Get Cookin’ is strictly prohibited.

Privacy - This notice describes our privacy policy. By visiting this site, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Notice. We receive and store the information you enter on our web site. You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of our many features. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests, fulfilling orders, customizing future shopping for you, improving our store features, and communication with you.

To help us improve your shopping experience, we sometimes send you newsletters of our services and products, notifications of changes to our policies, and order confirmations. If you do not want to receive e-mail from us, other than order notifications and receipts, please email us at lgcookin@aol.com to "Opt Out". We respect your privacy and appreciate your business. At no time do we ever provide your account contact or payment information to any third party vendor, associate, or service provider unless absolutely necessary in order to complete your transaction and order.

Electronic Communications - You consent to receive communication from us electronically. You agree that all communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

Your Account - You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for restricting access to your computer. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel orders at our discretion.

Disputes - By visiting our site, you agree that the laws of the state of California will govern these Conditions of Use. Any dispute relating in any way to your visit of our site or of products you purchase through our site shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in California. The arbitrator’s award shall be binding. Your claim shall not be joined to an arbitration involving any other party, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.

Miscellaneous - Please review our other policies posted on this site. These policies also govern your visit to Letsgetcookin.com. We reserve the right to make changes to our site and policies at any time without notice. We disclaim implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose. If any of these conditions are deemed invalid for any reason, that condition shall be severable and not affect the validity of any remaining condition.
