Summer - Fall 2010
Welcome to a summer-fall session of fun classes for all.
We will feature author Susan Herrmann Loomis from Rue Tatin Cooking School in Normandy, France in July. Sam Choy, Hawaii’s most acclaimed chef, author and television personality will be back in September. Finally, Diana Kennedy will come from Mexico as our special guest to promote her new book on Oaxaca in October.
In addition, Nick Malgieri will dazzle us with desserts from his new cookbook and Chef John Ash will return to teach two exciting classes. New guest teachers include beer expert, Andrew Wild from the CIA and local barbecue and grilling expert, Aaron Robins from the Boneyard Bistro in Sherman Oaks.
We have a new Baking and Pastry Basics Series beginning in September as well as a new Fast and Easy Basic Entrees Series, also in September. Save several Friday nights for our fun “Sex And The City” class, French Julia Child Picnic Class, more Martini classes, another Sushi class, a Luau class and more!
Check out our cruise to South America in November. This promises to be a fantastic trip with a planned food and wine class on board and special side trips to food venues in port. South America is a hot destination! Speaking of hot, in the store we have everything you need to cook with for the barbecue season and outdoor entertaining.
